TAYLOR HERNANDEZ - RED DESERT ROUNDUP RODEO PRINCESS

The Princess title was won by Taylor Hernandez of Fontenelle.  Taylor is in the 10th grade at Green River High School as an honors student. She is active in 4-H in 11 disciplines including horse, dog, fashion, and shooting sports.  She is in Green River FFA where she serves as Historian, the National High School Rodeo Association, and Pack ‘n Harmony Choir. She enjoys competing in Reined Cow Horse and Light Rifle through High School Rodeo, showing horses and livestock, learning how to trick ride, singing, and playing guitar. Taylor plans to pursue future degrees in business and obtain a commercial pilot's license.

The Princess 1st Attendant is Ashten Folks from Rock Springs.  Ashten is a 7th grader at Farson-Eden Junior High. She is involved in the Sagehoppers Horse and Beef Club, Sweetwater County 4-H Shooting Sports, Wild West Outlaws, and Farson-Eden volleyball and basketball. Ashten has won awards for showing great sportsmanship in basketball and volleyball in addition to several awards through showing horses at the Sweetwater County Fair. Ashten’s hobbies include being with friends and family, playing sports, riding her 4 year old horse, hunting, playing with her pet raccoon, swimming, and helping on her friends ranch.

 The Junior Princess title went to Kennedy Kleinlein from Rock Springs.  Kennedy is in the 6th grade at Pilot Butte Elementary School. She is actively involved in the Wild West Outlaws Gymkhana Club, Sweetwater Ranch Sort Club, Bear River Riders, Corral Crew 4-H Club, and Pilot Butte Band. She has won many awards through showing horses, swine, and goats including the Sweetwater County Fair Champion Junior Horse Showman, Grand Champion Junior Dairy and Meat Goat Showman, and Reserve Grand Champion Junior Swine Showman. Her hobbies include riding horses, reading, playing trombone, and rock climbing. Kennedy plans to grow as a horseman and set and achieve new goals in rodeo.
