The 2018 Red Desert Roundup Rodeo takes place July 26, 27 and 28 at the Sweetwater County Events Complex Outdoor Arena in Rock Springs, WY.

The 2018 Red Desert Roundup Rodeo Parade will be held
Saturday, July 28. Parade will begin promptly at 10:00 A.M.
Interested participants can download parade details and entry form below. Entry forms can also be picked up at the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce.
Entry Forms & Payment
Entry Forms need to be completed and returned to Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce by Friday, July 20, by noon. There will be a $40 entry fee for each participant. Make checks payable to RDR Rodeo, Inc. On your entry form, include a short narrative on the back for the Pro Rodeo Announcer, Chad Nicholson, to read when you pass the judge's stand. If you would like your entry judged in more than one category, an entry fee must be paid for all categories.
Performance & Judging
If your entry is performing, please limit performance to one minute, thirty seconds. The judge's stand is capable of playing CD's for performances. Due to electronic equipment, please do not spray water in the direction of the judge's stand. Entries will be judged in the following categories for first, second, and third place: Band, Commercial, Civic, Fraternal, General, Military, Motor Sports, Equestrian, Religious, Youth, Political, and Youth Organization, and one overall winner. Plaques will be available for pick up at the Rock Springs Chamber of Commerce beginning Wednesday, August 1, 2018.
Parade will begin promptly at 10:00 A.M. Staging area begins at B and Broadway; South on B Street to Cedar Street and South on C Street to the County Court House. UPON ARRIVING, PLEASE CHECK IN AT THE COURT HOUSE PARKING LOT TO PICK UP YOUR NUMBER. You will then be directed to your assigned area. Large entries must be at the staging area no later than 8:00 A.M. Small entires to check in by 8:30 A.M. There will be parade officials on four wheelers to assist you. You will be contacted by the parade committee during the week of July 23 with your entry number and location in the staging area.
Route and Map
The Parade Route will begin at B and Broadway; heading East on Broadway; under the under pass; continuing on M Street; left on Pilot Butte to K Street; K Street to North Front; right on North Front to Elk, left on Grant and over the overpass. The Judge's stand will be located on Grant Street in front of the World War II Memorial Traffic Island.
No candy may be thrown from the entry. Entries may have walkers along their unit distributing candy to spectators. If you have any questions or need further information, contact Peggy Little at 371-5186.
